CHRISTOPHER MORPHISOn Thursday, October 18, 2012 (5 to 9 p.m.), The SCENE Magazine will transform Clear Lake Park’s Landolt Pavilion into a celebration of the best of independently-owned dining, original music, local art, and Texas craft beer. Plus, there will be more than a few surprises mixed in to add to the entertainment experience. This event marks the 10th anniversary of the locally and independently-owned SCENE Magazine, which supports and promotes local dining, events, non-profits, nightlife, live music and spirits in Houston’s most dynamic community, often referred to us the Jewel of Houston, Waterfront Capital of Texas and the home of Manned Space Flight and Mission Control.
This event is a celebration of what our SCENE readers love: Food, local live music, art, adult beverages and being “seen out on The SCENE.” With over a quarter of a million people calling the local community home including one of the most highly educated workforces and greatest concentration of engineers found on the planet, SCENEfest creates an excellent marketing opportunity for those businesses wanting to be in front of an active, attractive audience with disposable income. This will be THE “After Work” event of the season! A conservative attendance estimate ranges from 1000 to 1,200 people. We are targeting and – more importantly – will be prepared for more. Please join us!
